When it comes to punishment, keep in mind he was also charged with a felony harassment with a bodily substance on top of the 3 misdemeanors. That word felony stands out a bit, and could be a big factor in his punishment.
I know in previous jobs with various companies, I would be fired if convicted of a felony, no question about it. And I have to think most people would in their jobs unless they work for a contractor or for themselves.
