That's part of it...but to lose guys like Patrick Willis and Justin Smith...hurts They also lost Crabtree, Gore, Iupati, Boldin, Perish Cox, Ray McDonald, etc. in ONE OFFSEASON.
They went from having the best roster in the NFL to having arguably the 2nd worst in like 2 years.
