That's awful for a #3 now in a league where 4,000 passing yards isn't much of a hurdle. I would take Garcon in a heartbeat, even at $5-6m/yr. 3yr/$15-18m and throw him out there as the #2.
Would also gladly offer Terrance Williams 4yr/$20-24m.
I didn't mean to imply 384 yards was satisfactory for a WR3 in today's game. I was meaning more like 500+ yards can be satisfactory, which is what Patterson approached when seeing more opportunities on offense. Given Green and Eifert will occupy about 2000 yards of offense plus another ~250-500 receiving yards will be occupied by the RBs and depth players, I look/hope for the WR2 and WR3 to combine for around 1200-1400 yards.
I dunno, I still think that if Patterson can contribute around 500 yards or more on offense plus his added ability as a returner, I think he's worth a few million.
However, I too would like to see Terrance Williams opposite of AJ Green.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.
