Completely agree about competition at each position group, but I fear with this many picks that a lot of them will be lost to other teams on the PS.  Remember, when 24 originally trashed me about this idea, it was in reference to ONE extra pick, that could be switched to next year's draft....otherwise, I bet less than half of that 12 picks would end up making this team.
