ANYBODY type me up a response that would have appeased them, while retaining Marvin and Alexander. WTS, I thin PA is well past his prime and they should have parted ways with Marvin at the end of this season.  

The truth? 

Marvin has been the leader of this team for 14 years. He's done great things in the community, with the players, and has been instrumental in the development of this football team. While he's not yet achieved with the level of success we would like, that shouldn't take away from what he's done off the field with these players and the community. We have all the faith in the world that Marvin will lead us to a Super Bowl victory. We don't want to break the continuity we have going with the young, promising players we have. 

He doesn't have to treat us like a mushroom, ya know?
