I heard that after this season he is gong to be a Restricted Free Agent instead of Unrestricted. This is definitely a big factor in him being traded or not. We can still get great value next year if we put a high tender on him. Not to mention, he is a good backup to have at the most important position. I Would hate to see Andy go down and have the season be immediately washed because we don't have a competent backup. I love the idea of getting an extra pick, but we have to be smart about this.
