I now have zero respect for him, stating he would only leave for a contender to then sign with the LA Browns.

Had he said it was about securing more of a financial future or wanting a multi year commitment, then I would have had no problem with him moving on.  But to make that kind of statement then chase the money means you are not a man of your word and, in my opinion, of poor character.
