It's easy to say because our current C is terrible.
Sure, he has "never attended a Bengals practice", but the man is an 11 year veteran, 7x Pro-Bowler and 3x All-Pro caliber O-lineman. You don't think he'd quickly adapt to the nuances and personnel of a different team? Take the young guys under his wing as much as he could?
If there was ever a guy that knows what it takes to build a cohesive unit it would be a guy like Mangold.
