Rey was a good thumper at Mike. He was at his best on inside run plays or goal line. Where he was weak was pass defense and also reading plays - which was why they took the radio away from him as quickly as possible. The weakness in coverage also meant the Bengals were very vulnerable to pass plays to his area when he was in there - as in to the TE.

Minter brings a different skill set to the Mike position. He is faster and can defend both pass and run. He also reads plays well and is used to wearing the radio.

I wish Rey luck wherever he lands.
