Defending home from insects

I soak the outside of my house in Home Defense. Window trim, doors, foundation, all of it. I wait for a weekend when the wife and boy go out of town, and do the same inside. I soak the garage pretty thoroughly, too.

I also got rid of every bit of mulch in my garden last year. I heard from several people that mulch will attract ants and termites, so out with that shit immediately.
