I went to quite few games back then and started dating a girl from Cincy. We dated for about 5 months and then 1 day I decided I couldn't live in Ohio for to much longer, so I moved back to Washington without so much a goodbye to her....... 6 years later my new wife and her youngest decide to visit my family and we go to a Monday night game against the Steelers and I have tickets in the south EZ about 20 rows up from the field. We are setting there during warm ups and the boy is all jacked up because he is seeing AJ, his favorite, I look over at some people coming down our row and guess who it is??? Unbelievable, we said hi and if looks could kill..........
So you dated for five months, which means you have stuff at her place, she has stuff at yours. Maybe you even discussed shacking up together. Lots of people get married after knowing each other for a lot less time. Your lives are intertwined, in other words. Despite that, one day you decide to leave and move across the country (assuming you mean Washington state and not DC) without telling her. I'm curious: how were those last days between you? Was there sex going on, and could you look her in the eye knowing that you were splitting town? How did you explain the empty boxes stacked in your living room? When she asked about the Mayflower truck parked in the driveway, did you dismiss it by saying that it belonged to your neighbor and suggest getting pizza? Did she visit your place after you left and break down the door thinking you were dead or incapacitated inside? Did she get any of her stuff back? Did you just ignore every single call/text she made to you, pleading for an answer?
I'm trying to get a feel for the logistics of pulling off something like this.
