To help support Hurricane Harvey victims and to aid in the relief efforts in Houston, the Bengals are announcing today three major initiatives undertaken by the Club.

First, the Bengals will donate net proceeds of tickets sold to the Houston Texans game to the American Red Cross for tickets purchased today through September 9. The Bengals play the Texans on September 14 (8:25 p.m.) at Paul Brown Stadium in a Thursday Night Football matchup that airs locally on WLWT Channel 5. To kick off the donation effort, WLWT purchased 50 tickets to the game.

Fans can purchase tickets by calling the Bengals Ticket Hotline at (513) 621-8383 or toll-free at (866) 621-8383, by visiting the Paul Brown Stadium ticket office or online at Bengals.com/Harvey.

As a second initiative, the Bengals are teaming up with the American Red Cross, WLWT, the City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County to host Help for Houston at the September 14 game.  American Red Cross volunteers and WLWT personalities will be at entrances to Paul Brown Stadium before the Texans game to collect cash donations for hurricane relief efforts. Gates open at 7 p.m.

Additionally, the Bengals and the Salvation Army are working together to provide Hope for Houston. Fans can drop off only items crucially needed for victims of Hurricane Harvey, to specifically include: baby diapers and wipes, baby food, powdered baby formula and personal hygiene items.

The collection will take place during the week of Monday, September 11 through Friday, September 15 at the following locations, during the times listed:

• The Salvation Army Citadel Chapel, 120 E. Central Parkway, Downtown, 45202, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

• The Salvation Army Thrift Store in West Chester,  7900 Tylersville Square Road, 45069, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

• The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Eastgate, 801 Eastgate South Drive, 45245, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

• The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Norwood, 2250 Park Avenue, 45212, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

“Our thoughts go out to everyone impacted by Hurricane Harvey,” said Bengals executive vice president Katie Blackburn. “We have several players from the Houston area on our team. We want to help with the relief efforts and show our support to the Texans as we welcome them to Paul Brown Stadium on September 14.”

Fans can call the Bengals Ticket Hotline Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The ticket office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fans can also text HARVEY to 90999 to donate $10 to American Red Cross Hurricane Harvey relief.
