Well, I thought it was done just right and in this day and age, that is something that is hard to do it seems in Hollywood. THey easily could have made this about PEnnywise and try to make it as much of a horror film as they could. But they didnt and went with the central core of what made the book & the first half of the tv series popular. The kids, and they were great.
