Breaking: No extension for Eifert

That franchise tag number will be pretty high and he can't stay healthy.  Who does he think is going to pay him big money?

We have a few young guys in Kroft and Uzomah that might at least hold us over until we find a FA or draft someone, or they might prove to be good enough because they haven't been horrible.

Uzomah was showing pretty well last year, but he can't seem to stay healthy either.

Kroft has been a disappointment, but I have only heard how great he looked at camp (not from media shills, either).  I will need to see this in a game before I put any stock in it.

Eifert is a difference maker, and I think he deserves a shot to show what he can do with the other weapons in our stable at this time.  He could go the rest of his career without an injury and we do know he is one of the best when healthy.

I don't think you let that kind of player go.
