My problem with the benching was that they guy put his helmet right on the ball. It wasn't like Ross was holding it loosely. There was nothing Ross would learn from being disciplined.
On the other side of the coin...with the offense struggling, it's curious that coaches would bench a guy with game changing speed. Like if Randy Moss as a rookie fumbled, I think no coach would bench him.
