Either he's so stupid that he forgot what he said, or he's playing damage control because the front office and Tomlin told him to ease everyone's fears because I'm sure everyone in Steelers nation was shitting themselves! Even if that second part is true, he must think everyone is too stupid to remember that he was just doubting himself a few days ago!
The delusional Steelers' fan base will be energized and excited like he had never made the original statement!
I actually think his teammates see through it and it actually makes them play worse because they'll be doubting him.

If you actually listen to the interview where he says he doesn't have it anymore, it's pretty obvious that he was being sarcastic. That whole thing is much ado about nothing.
