It's not so much a theory as it is an observation.
There's certain Bengal users I follow on Instagram, and a couple of them have been preaching that Ross is not actually hurt since the Houston game ended. I have no clue who these users are but I believe they are tied closely to the organization somehow. They are followed by a lot of high profile Bengal players, and several of those players "liked" an image where they ranted on how the team was f***ing Ross over.
I was very skeptical at first but the longer this draws out and the more Marv says on the subject... I now fully believe Marv is keeping Ross out for reasons that aren't being reported
