How can you justify NOT starting AJ McCarron the rest of the season?

Putting McCarron in, while not necessarily a bad idea (if he's as good as some people think), basically signals that you're giving up on the rest of the season. Lewis may as well just resign now, if he thinks about starting AJM without an injury to Dalton.
