Reading his quotes, I don't think he was suggesting he's a victim of the refs, and they're to blame for his suspensions, etc. Or anything of the sort.
He was just pointing out what's going on. He owned his previous actions.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
