Yeah, but our OC/playbook and 32nd ranked offense really aren't the kind of things that would keep a guy around for the sake on consistency.  Hell, staying here with our anemic offense could ruin what's left of his numbers.

Fair enough. I guess it depends on what he values more (assuming money is the same). Winning or familiarity with team/region.

If every player placed the most emphasis on winning, we wouldn't have been able to resign any players during the 90's (believe it or not, we did).
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
