NFL is full of it; touting player safety all the while hyping up this physical, brutal rivalry. They relish the violence this game brings. It’s true because that’s all the hype before each & every time these two teams meet.
I’m glad they kept showing the face mask Ken Anderson suffered, but they shoulda showed even more and even more than the little clip they showed which coincidentally featured mostly Bengal players being brutalized. Then perhaps the rest of the country would have some level of understanding as to why a player like Vontaze is so endearing to our fragile psyche.
One dey guys, we’ll be the winner. Until then, the rain will always stop when it’s time for Pittsburgh to kick a game winner against us.
