Idk I am not a doctor and I didn't see him take any physical contact. Wasn't it his shoulder that was hurt and not his legs. Isn't that why he went on IR? I think screwing over a player for no reason would ruin his rep around the league especially if it was "the owners pick". I am assuming the guy will want to coach again at some point.
