I figure it's all part of a long con where Harrison will funnel intel back to Tomlin (which he will probably ignore/not how to use) or he takes out Brady in a practice "accidentally".  

No, all seriousness aside I felt if they were going to use him they would have by now.  They need a roster spot and you cut the guy not playing.  He has barely seen double digit snaps this season.

And while I hate to see a player go that meant so much when he was a starter, and was a good back up to our emerging new players, this happens all the time in sports.

In another thread about Ben retiring I made comment that I am old enough to have seen my favorite players retire/get cut since the 70's.

It's never a good time, but it is all about time.
