Don't know if this is the right forum or not, but, something I've been wondering about. IMHO I believe ML throwed that deal out about resigning in order to keep his job! If you'll notice when any team hears they are going to lose their coach they seem to really rally together and play much better. ML knew in the back of his mind that if he cried fowl he could cap some sympathy from MB. I'm probably not wording this properly,but, I hope you get the gist of what I'm talking about.
