They were blitzes, but the secondary was almost like: "it's ok, you can dump it off to this guy, I won't be anywhere near him".
Were they in specific situations where they seemed willing to give up the short pass if it meant stopping a potential big play on a blitz?
I don't know the exact plays you're talking about, so I'm just guessing here, but it seems like they may not have cared too much about a few yard gain in those scenarios.
