Like I said, it's Northern Kentucky.  It's one big bubble.  If he had paid her off, it would have been big news and everyone would have known about it.  

Also, you really think Chris Henry had the kind of money to just throw millions of dollars at a girl?

There would also be a girl in the area with suddenly a lot of money that everyone would know about, but that also didn't happen.
