That is the phrase I use to explain guys looking good, coming off the bench late in the season, playing against guys that have been pounded on all season long.
I caught some static for that phrase, last season when I used it in reference to Rex Burkhead looking like a hidden superstar the last couple games of the season.
I have more hope for Westerman than I do for Redmond. Westerman was considered a 2nd-to-3rd round pick by many analysts, and I agreed with that based on what I read/watched leading up to the 2016 draft. I still believe he can become a quality starter.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.
