When you say you depend on your eyes what you really mean is "I see what I want to see and ignore the rest". You hated MJ before the season even started so you just told yourself that your eyes saw something that they did not.
Ok, then if you are going to claim that I don't know what I'm watching please break down the pass-rushing opportunities the two had. Was Willis in to stuff the run on first and second down? Was he given the same number of pass rushing opps? Again, I said TFLs, which imply they aren't on the QB, but a RB or receiver (in this case, they were RB).
And I have never hated MJ. I just don't think he has the ability to be a presence off the edge whatsoever. One move, no speed, etc. He DID, however, seem to do pretty well in his limited snaps at pass-rushing DT on third downs. In typical Bengal fashion, they put him right back at RDE. Where he did next to nothing.
