Yes, but did you take into account the thickness of both of the soles of your shoes and John Ross' shoes? One or both of you may or may not have been wearing thicker socks! Perhaps both of you were barefoot . One or both of you may or may not have sufficiently washed your feet the day before.. It's possible there could be a micro discrepancy in your calculations.
