I think Marvin's tendency to wait on younger players has closed a talent window that could have propelled us to great things. Now the window is closing with Green, Dalton, Dunlap, and Atkins etc aging. It's time for all hands on deck when it comes to a playoff push. Use the young guys now like you did with Green and Dalton in years past.
If the Bengals are true to their stripes, they will instead bring in some B or C tier veteran to start at NT vs spending a first rounder at the position to start over essentially a sophomore in Billings.
But I agree, the playoff push needs to happen in the next 2-3 years or it's going to be another reset.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.
