You start getting in trouble when you base your draft grades 100% on physical projections (Barkevious Mingo is an example of why this scouting technique does not work), but it has to be part of the evaluation.
and it's a part of the evaluation that PFF basically ignores, which is why I don't really take their draft grading skills seriously very often.
I like PFF from an analytical standpoint because they do the work that the average fan couldnt do. I certainly wouldnt base a mock draft on these numbers but they could be a factor certainly at least for me. I just like to watch a guy and judge whetherI think he'd fit our system. They do it weekly on some sites so why cant I. Im no expert by any means but I just love doing mocks for the team I root for which is the Bengals ofcourse.
