Actually this is a big pet peeve of mine.  I can't stand old people acting all superior when things were so screwed up back in their time.

And not even just old people.  Just 25 years ago teens were far more violent, smoked more, and got pregnant a lot more, but even people who grew up in that era will whine about "kids today".
