I see 6-10 to 8-8 teams get WORSE on a regular basis.
If all it takes is trying then there must be a lot of teams that are not trying.
Maybe you have not noticed but there are a lot of teams that blow a lot of money on free agents and get worse. If all it ttok to be a contender was spend a lot of money on free agents then almost every team in the league would be a Super Bowl contender every year.
