Well as of late it is not that we are not willing to spend the money it is the decisions on WHO to spend the money on.
For example, we should of spent the money on Whit and Reggie Nelson and we would of been in a much better spot the last two years.
Once in awhile we need to go after a top tier FA to get us over the hump. Last year it would of been nice to get a top Center in FA as it
would be once again this year. I actually liked the Minter pickup last FA but evidently he wasn't the player i thought he was. Could of got
about a half dozen Linebackers that would of been better for us.
Hindsight is 20/20 but most of us saw the writing on the wall with letting Whit go.
This year we need a top tier OT or Center, we will see if hiring Pollack will influence this FO in a good way or not.
