I think Lewis has done all he could to get the Bengals out of the hell of the 1990's and; that is, take the team to the playoffs.  I think that he would have to be provided with total control of player personnel i.e., keep Whit to take them to a playoff win.  With that said, Lewis may have reached his plateau with this team.  A change is necessary.  But I also believe that as long as Mike Brown is involved to any extent in football operations, a Super Bowl is not happening.
