Another’s reason I’d say to take the McGlinchey pick is to fill the leader gap created by Whit’s departure. McG was captain of ND’s squad for two years. Leader, smart, good OT. Not a Joe Thomas elite OT but still could be an anchor at left AND a leader for next ten years.
