Well, yeah.  I would say we do know he passed it.  Would he have been signed if he hadn't?  Seems like common sense to me.  Nothing wrong with condemning the negative.  Also nothing wrong with applauding the positive when it happens.  Otherwise, it comes off as hey you kids, get off my lawn.
