Probably because of Ross's attitude at practice.
Again, I have seen Marvin coach hundreds of rookies. If he suddenly treats one different from all of the others I am generally going to believe it is because of the actions of the player and not Marvin. Especially when that player ends up pulling the most childish stunt I have ever seen form a rookie.
If Marvin was that petty we would have seen it before, and Ross's actions show how immature he is.
