Adding strength Mock
#1
Round 1: Isaiah Wynn, OG, Georgia - 6'3" 313lbs  -
Immediate starter on our Oline. Has the versatility we have always valued in offensive lineman. 2 year starter at guard before becoming the starting LT for the title run last season. A more athletic Boling. Not to mention who wouldn't be excited having three Georgia Bulldogs on the oline Here are the highlights from the national championship game where Wynn blocked Da'Shawn Hand and Da'ron Payne regularly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhPmq_92Tfs

Round 2: Orlando Brown, OT, Oklahoma - 6'8" 360lbs
He has been projected all over the first three rounds. I don't see how we pass on him here, and knowing Marvin's connection to his Dad i wouldn't be surprised if we pulled the trigger in the first. Likely a day one starter over Bobby Hart and Jake Fisher. I would also be happy should Price or Daniels be available here and we lock in the starting Oline. I just dont see us having a shot at the top interior lineman at this point in the draft. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYLU1_f_Be8

Round 3a: Ian Thomas, TE, Indiana - 6'4" 259lbs
Big bodied TE who could use some refining. Reminds me of Jermaine Gresham, a ton of potential just no guarantee it will all come together. Ohio State fans will likely remember him as the star for Indiana from this last season. He is not in the same class as Gesicki, Hurst, or Goedert but may grow into that type of player. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MF_CgpnRBnM

Round 3b: Tim Settle, DT, Virginia Tech - 6'3" 335lbs
Bengals brought him in for a pre-draft work out. He could add good rotational depth with Billings and I think has the ability to be what we hoped to get out of Devon Still. Plug holes while still pushing the pocket. Also any 335 pounder that can pull off wearing a single digit is the man https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATi64Vw5acQ

Round 4: Jessie Bates III, FS, Wake Forest - 6'1" 200lbs
This is my biggest stretch as I've seen projections that push him into the mid second round. I'm counting on a deep safety class and Bates being a little on the short side to cause him to slip. He also is a very average tackler who can't frequently whiff. With that said Bates was a Freshman All-American 2 years ago and with a drop in production this year due to missing a few games with an injury. Also he was a top performer at the combine for DBs in the 3 cone and both shuttle runs. No chance he supplants Williams or Iloka in year 1, but could grow into a good NFL starter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q91Stt9x6Hs

Round 5a: Mason Cole, C, Michigan - 6'4" 305lbs
Cole played both Center and tackle at Michigan. I hate waiting this long to get someone capable of starting in the middle of our Oline, but I think Cole has the intellect to pick up the line calls and when between two capable guards can at least provide a band-aid for 2018. I doubt he becomes a Pro Bowler, but NFL.com compares him to Ryan Jensen which is a whole heck of a lot better than Russell Bodine. He seems to struggle to keep his head on a swivel and locks into his first read making him susceptible to blitzes and twists. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JPFRinN3Qw8

Round 5b: Holton Hill, CB, Texas - 6'3" 200lbs
Would likely go a round or two earlier if not for the character concerns. Was suspended by Texas for violating team rules to start last season and could have benefitted from going back for a year to show his maturity issues are behind him. That said he is a tall long corner with sub 4.5 speed. Very handsy corner that would help offset the loss of PacMan in the secondary https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxW8ZT6h0ug

Round 5c: Oren Burks, LB, Vanderbilt - 6'3" 233lbs
With Preston Brown's signing LB is not a high priority. That said Burks is a great depth pick who can make an immediate impact on special teams and provide similar coverage ability to a guy like Marquise Flowers has in the past. Best suited for the WILL position and in lieu of Burfict's reoccurring suspensions he could be good depth for the room https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_IajeL8bdQ

Round 7a: John Franklin-Myers, DE, SF Austin- 6'4" 283lbs
Largely over looked throughout his career. His high school team went 0-40 in his 4 years there. SF austin is hardly a power house either. That said he had a decent combine and could be a great flyer pick this late. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_bS91EVZbk

Round 7b: Bradley Bozeman, C, Alabama - 6'5" 311lbs
Bozeman could compete with Cole up the middle. Reminds me a lot of David Andrews a few years ago. Lots of experience against high quality opponents. If nothing else provides excellent locker room depth. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NRA6Db_tdk

Round 7c: Roc Thomas, RB, Jacksonville State - 5'11" 193lbs
Originally played at Auburn only to lose his spot to Kamryn Petway and Kerryon Johnson both who will be drafted this year. Shifty runner that reminds me of a less shifty Gio. This is a deep RB class that could make Roc fall a round lower than he might in another year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9MQKJUYgt0
