What exactly would those 3-safety looks look like? From everything I've understood about 3-safety looks, it's essentially replacing a LB for another safety.

CBs = WJ3, Kirkpatrick
Safeties = Iloka, Williams, Bates
LBs = Burfict, Brown

And I would think in nickel, it'd be...
CBs = Add Dennard
LBs = Remove Brown

And I think in these looks, Austin would have Williams more in the box and Bates as a true cover guy.

I think you got it mixed...    Doesn't nickel package mean 5 Defensive backs?

And Dime Package is 6 DBs...

So bates probly means we play a lot of nickle D over base (4-3-4)
