When I read some comments about certain players being "trash" just because they're not performing on the field up to their unrealistic expectations I really have to wonder who is trash, the player or certain fans with unrealistic expectations of what a football player should be. To me I'd take a player with great moral values and willing to help out complete strangers over one with great physical skill, but wouldn't stop to help a stranger if life depended on it. There really is more to admire about players than the mere win/loss record of a team. Their professional football careers are limited ,but their lives as real men with real values lives on well after a few seasons of highlights on the field .
