Kitna played for four different NFL teams and had the best season of his career under Zampese in 2003 when we won the ranked 9th in passer rating, 3dr in passing tds and won NFL Comeback Player of the Year.
Palmer played for three different NFL teams and also had the best season of his career under Zampese in 2005 when he finished 1st in passing tds, 2nd in passer rating, and 4th in yards. Two of his three Pro Bowl seasons were under Zampese.
Andy Dalton was a second round pick, but he has gone to three Pro Bowls under Zampese and that does not include 2015 when he had a 106.2 passer rating.
Kitna - Only improved his completion percentage by .1% with the addition of Zamp. He was comeback player of the year after a 2-14 season.
Palmer - best season of his career was 2015 with Arizona.
Andy - I'm an Andy believer, I think he overcame the Zamp
Either way, be excited for Van Pelt. Dalton can pick his brain with Aaron Rodgers film and learn a lot. He should improve. Get excited!
