Honestly, that's pretty much everything I can do for you. Everything you say is argued solidly in my eyes. I just can say that I personally still see an 8-8 season, maybe that pretty much unfounded pessimism helps you.
According to PFF Jackson was arguably the best CB in the entire league last year. I think it's safe to say he's the best of the young corners.
A few facts about WJIII's play last year:
Held Antonio Brown to 0 receptions.
Coverage snaps per reception: 26.4 (best in the league)
Lowest catch % allowed: 36.6% (best in the league)
Fewest yards allowed: 151 (best in the league)
Yards per coverage snap: 0.38 (3rd best in a season since 2006)
Passer rating: 36.1 (7th best since 2006)
Again, all this in essentially his rookie season.
