I would hope the old man is out of the roster decision business.  Let the coaches, who understand football, make those calls.

MB needs to stay in his penthouse and run the business side of the show only.  Hell, even if he knew the game (which he obviously doesn't), how in the world can you make assessments sitting in a golf cart!
