Sure does.

For example, Pats trailing by 5 with 1:30 to go and Brady has the ball.  Everyone knows he's going to pass his way to victory, and he does.

Another example, the Browns lead by 6 with 1:30 to go and have the ball.  Everyone knows they are going to lose, and they do!
