It was wild! Our first Mahi hookup of the day (of about 9) and *5* came onto the spread of 7 lines. 1 for the captain, 1 for the mate, 1 for my fiancée and 2 for me.
The big Mahi pulled SO damn hard and the Sails were just another thing altogether... Such an experience, as I've wanted to catch a billfish since I was 3 years old.
That tattoo, btw was FINALLY finished this year lol; it is now complete, booekended and done :).

I know the Chesapeake has some good fishing, including what is known as one of the best redfish/red drum fisheries, I've just never been able to get over and fish it.
Yeah, the cost has always stopped me in the past, but I saved up for a good year or so, for both the trip and the charter, so I was happy that it went down.
And yeah, the amount of lakes we have here in Ontario is just beyond ridiculous; each one (basically), teeming with fish of a whole variety of species; we're lucky in North America.
Not only Reds, but also Stripers and Blues; Bluefish is delicious and it may make me want to head out east for a week, either at Montauk or something!
