Truck Gets Married and Goes on His Honeymoon...

I don't normally post things like this in Klotsch; I believe the only major life event that I did post, was when I had cancer back in 2010: being so young and having no clue what laid ahead, I really needed some advice and reassurance at the time. Thankfully, my treatment went about as smoothly as it could have ever possibly been, so that was very much appreciated :).

Fast forward now though, I feel I should share with my internet home and family, my marriage (almost!) 3 weeks ago; If I was MIA for a bit, it was because I was in Italy, where I promptly lost my phone after the first few days (not watching both games until I got back was death lol).

The day also went about as smoothly as it could've gone, though my groomsmen were late to my house and missed the photographer and videographer (Italian Weddings are unnecessarily convoluted and expensive and my wife now realises, that we shouldn't have undertaken what we did lol). It was a long (7:00 am- 3:45 am) and super humid and hot day, but a good time was had by all and everyone had a wonderful meal, while the church went super well as well.

Our Honeymoon consisted of 2 weeks in central and northern Italy and while the trip on the whole was great, as mentioned, I lost my phone (now have to shell out $200-300 for a new one...), had to pay almost $300.00 in hidden baggage fees, because the pricks that I purchased my airline tickets from, did not notify me and in trying to locate my lost phone, I wasted 1 entire day and nearly $300.00, to no avail.

Oh, and the proprietors at hotels and restaurants are absolute aholes, if they know you're a tourist (even if you speak Italian like I do), in the touristy cities; thankfully, in the non-touristy places we went, people were awesome.

So, a lot of lost money, a lot of heartache, but we enjoyed our time in our motherland :).

Bride Dance with Dad: Unforgettable- Natalie and Nat King Cole (My choice, since they have terrible taste in music and couldn't decide lol)
