Just because the defense just had a great effort last week, doesn't mean it wasn't atrocious the first 4 games. 

The offense carried the team until last week.

I think you missed my point. It isn't that the defense is doing great. It's that without late game TD's by the defense. We lose Colts game without Fedj late score. We lose Fins game without returns by MJ and Hubbard. So, my point is we're a 2-3 team without those events and a 2-3 team could very well have a 30th ranked offensive line.
