Looks like they are continuing that trend as they have scored 17 points so far in the 3rd quarter and have been shut out in 3 games.
I just don’t know what it is but you can almost expect them to come out and open with a 3 and out. It gets about as redundant as these losses to the Steelers. Today is perfect example. Erickson gets a great return to midfield and offense can’t capitalize with any points. Would have been a great opportunity to take the momentum for the 2nd half from the get go.
Each game is coming down to 4th quarter heroics and it could be avoided if the team would just show up for once to open the second half.
That took some air out our sails right out of the gate when Erickson puts us a first down away from FG range on kickoff return and we go 3 and out and punt.
Got to work on coming out of halftime stronger.
