To say getting our asses handed to us is somehow better then having a really close game, on the road, in primetime, against possibly the best team in the conference is asinine. If we lose but had a close game down to the wire pretty much every fan would have been okay with the result. Losing by 35 on national television just tells everyone, once again, nothing has changed. 

A lose isn't always just a loss and anyone who thinks that has never actually played competitive sports.
